All of this information is stored within the chart, and is referred to collectively
as a Sentient Trader Chart.
When a Chart is opened (which happens when the Workspace which contains the Chart
is opened), several important things happen:
Sentient Trader loads the data for the chart, and checks whether there is new data
available.
If there is new data available Sentient Trader will re-evaluate the analysis. Depending
upon the amount of time that has passed since the last full analysis, and the price
movement that has occurred since that full analysis, Sentient Trader will either:
Update the current analysis
Perform a completely fresh analysis
If there is no new data then Sentient Trader will rebuild the cyclic model
which includes elements such as the FLD's, VTL's and Multiple FLD Pattern Projections.
This information is not stored in the workspace files because it would make those
files very large. Rebuilding the cyclic model takes only 5-10 seconds.
Then Sentient Trader will evaluate the trading situation:
If there is an open trade, Sentient Trader will monitor that trade and make decisions
about exit levels for the trade
If there is no open trade then Sentient Trader will make decisions about entering
a trade.
There is a very important concept in the way in which Sentient Trader works, and
that is the concept of continuity.
