You will come across specific terms in these notes (FLD, VTL, and so on). Rather than explain them each time, you will find definitions here: guidance notes for Hurst cycles terminology

Natural Gas futures – approaching an 80 day cycle peak.

The August price low was a 20 week cycle low and this is still underpinning the uptrend. There is yet another longer uptrend beneath the data, which is the rising 18 month cycle, which is why the shorter cycle peaks are coming in late (right translated). We are looking at the current 80 day cycle which has an average wavelength of 76 days and is presently 47 days along its trajectory (62%). The 80 day cycle peak is expected around 4.0 and in the first week of November. So we expect more upside over the next month or so after which time the preferred view is for a reset. We will know when the 80 day cycle peaks when the 20 day VTL and FLD are penetrated to the downside.
