Hurst originally defined his future line of demarcation (FLD) in the late 1960s. In essence, it is a very simple line, the median price displaced forwards on the chart by half the cycle’s wavelength. Despite the simplicity of the tool it has turned out to be one of the most powerful tools available to traders to this day.

Currently available for the MT4 platform, the Sentient FLD is also being developed for Tradingview, NinjaTrader and also the Bloomberg terminal.
