You will come across specific terms in these notes (FLD, VTL, and so on). Rather than explain them each time, you will find definitions here: guidance notes for Hurst cycles terminology

US 10 year – heading into 40 day cycle trough within broader downside reversal.

The 12 October low was an 80 day cycle trough and the cycle’s orthodox peak came in on 19 October – we know this because the up sloping 40 day VTL was crossed down two days ago. The next 40 day cycle trough occurs around 12 November and the 40 day FLD down cross that occurred yesterday projects to just below 4.4 which is roughly the level of the 20 week VTL. The nexus seems a reasonable high confidence stopping point for now. It should be remembered that this is only a 40 day cycle within an 80 day cycle that peaked bearishly early. We are therefore not looking for a massive recovery. We will deal with that when it comes.
